Cookie Policy
Effective 10 July 2026 · roboshift.life
1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how RoboShift Inc. ("RoboShift," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on roboshift.life (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. By continuing to use the Site after making a choice in our cookie banner, you consent to cookies as described for the categories you accept.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the Site function, remember preferences or collect usage statistics. Similar technologies include local storage — we store your cookie consent record in the browser's local storage under the key roboshift_cookie_consent so we do not ask on every visit.
3. How we obtain consent
When you first visit the Site, a banner offers three choices: Accept all, Reject all, or Customise. Reject all disables optional analytics and preference cookies while allowing strictly necessary operation. Customise lets you toggle optional categories individually. Your choice is stored for six months, after which we may prompt you again. You may change your mind by clearing Site data in your browser or revisiting after expiry when the banner reappears.
4. Categories of cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for basic Site operation and security. They cannot be switched off through our banner because the Site would not function reliably without them. They typically do not store directly identifying information. Examples include session integrity tokens, load-balancing identifiers and consent-state records.
4.2 Analytics (optional)
With your consent, we may use analytics cookies or comparable technologies to understand aggregate traffic patterns — pages viewed, approximate referral sources, device categories and session duration. We configure analytics to avoid collecting unnecessary personal identifiers where possible. Analytics helps us improve content about AI robotics adoption advisory, not to profile individual visitors for unrelated marketing.
4.3 Preferences (optional)
With your consent, preference cookies remember choices such as dismissed notices or display settings to improve repeat visits. They are not used for cross-site tracking.
5. Cookie and storage details
The table below summarizes key technologies. Exact names may be updated when we change hosting or analytics providers; material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date.
- roboshift_cookie_consent (local storage) — Stores your banner choice, optional category flags and timestamp. Duration: six months. Category: strictly necessary for consent management.
- Session cookies — May be set by our hosting stack for security and delivery. Duration: session or short-lived. Category: strictly necessary.
- Analytics identifiers — Set only if you accept analytics. Duration: per provider configuration, typically up to thirteen months. Category: analytics.
6. Third-party cookies
Some optional cookies may be set by service providers acting on our behalf (for example, privacy-conscious analytics or font delivery networks). Google Fonts may receive technical data when fonts load; we select providers with reasonable privacy practices. Third-party cookies are subject to those providers' policies in addition to ours.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through settings. Blocking all cookies may impair Site functionality. Instructions are available in your browser's help documentation for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others. Mobile device users should consult OS-level guidance.
Because consent is stored locally, clearing Site data removes your saved preference and will cause the banner to display again on your next visit.
8. Do Not Track and global privacy control
Our Site responds to the consent choices you make in our banner. We do not treat unsupported browser "Do Not Track" signals as equivalent to Reject all unless required by applicable law. Where legal frameworks require recognition of global privacy control signals, we will honour them for optional processing to the extent technically feasible.
9. Site audience
The Site is intended for operations professionals, engineering leaders and organizational decision-makers evaluating automation advisory — not for children to use independently. We do not knowingly enable behavioural advertising to minors through optional cookies.
10. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change technologies or legal requirements. The effective date above will change accordingly. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Site.
